When hiring an interior designer it is helpful to have an idea of what their flavour is so that you can trust them to make decisions that fit with your lifestyle.   While we are  very good at tailoring an individual brief  it is always useful to highlight  some of our personal  favourites and identify  recurring themes. Thus giving you a sample  of what louisa jane interiors can offer you.

From this you can see we  do light and dark but it needs  to fit the space and the individual. Interiors can be fun,  with a firm favourite palette of neutrals, blues and greens.  Sometimes with sprinklings of yellow or pink. Colour is beautiful and used correctly can really elevate a space.

Although it is helpful to see a particular style or taste, why would you want to limit yourself in design.

A LAYERED HOME BUILDS INTEREST THROUGH VARIOUS ELEMENTS INCORPORATED INTO THE DESIGN. THE BRASS CAFE NETS AT THE WINDOW,, WALL LIGHTS BOUNCING A WARM GLOW AND MEANDERING MARBLE BRINGING TEXTURE AND DEPTH TO THE SPACE.

ELEVATED SPACES HAVE BEEN TAKEN UP ANOTHER LEVEL IN DESIGN. REMOVING ALCOVE STORGE RATHER THAN ADDING IT. PLAYING WITH SCALE BY IINTRODUCING OVERSISED WALL LIGHTS AND PAINTING CEILINGS TO COMPLIMENT THE SPACE (NOT LEAVING THEM WHITE).
GARDEN SPA
THE CHIC SPA,. THIS STEAM ROOM IS ELEGANT & SOPHISTICATED ENSURING IT FEELS WELCOMING & INVITING. THE NICHES, THE LIGHTING THE CURVED BENCHES THIS WAS A VERY DETAILED DESIGN THAT WAS DELIVERED TO PREFCTION.

THIS TAILORED BEDROOM HAS CLEAN LINES, NOT TOO FUSSY THAT WILL STAND THE TEST OF TIME. THE STYLISH OTTOMAN, SIMPLE HEADBOARD, PANELLING & OVERSIZED LAMPS ENSURE THE SPACE IS TRANQUIL AND RESTFUL. PERFECT FOR A BEDROOM.
THIS EDITED DESIGN, WITH EVERY ELEMENT HAVING A DISTINCT PURPOSE & MEANING. THE OVERALL EFFECT IS WARM & INVITING WITH ATTENTION TO DETAIL THAT BRING THE DESIGN TO LIFE.
A MOODY CORNER - A WELCOME CONTRAST FROMN THE REST OF THE SPACE. A BACKDROP OF DEEP GREEN WITH THE COMPLIMENTARY BORDER ADDS JUST ENOUGH INTEREST TO BRING DEPTH & CONTRAST TO THE SPACE.

A PLAYFUL SPACE THAT IS TOO OFTEN SAVED FOR THE CHILDREN. IT IS POSSIBLE TO BRING A PLAYFUL APPROACH TO CONSIDERED INTERIORS. A CHEEKY PICTURE, A CRAZY LAMP YOU CAN HAVE POCKETS OF MISCHIEF WITHOUT BEING OVERWHELMING.
